Since achievement success of the August Revolution 1945, especially in the innovation period, not only science and technology exchange, training specialist, skill worker but also further application and innovation technology in foundry and metallurgy.
Up to now, the system took form in Vietnam including more than ten Universities. Institutes, training and research department in foundry, metallurgy and metal materials. Hundreds of companies in foundry–, iron and steel, nonfer-rous alloy network established and developed, especially since 1990, contributed to economic growth, industrialization and modernization, and integrate into regional and lnternarionaL
Members of Vietnam Foundry and Metallurgy Science and Technology Association are very active in propaganda, further exchange of science and technology, applied advanced technology in foundry, metallurgy and surface and heat treatment
On the occasion of the 9th Asian Foundry Congress-AFC9 organizes in Hanoi. Vietnam Foundry and Metallurgy Science and Technology Association publish a book to Introduce of Vietnam foundry and metallurgy achievement, results in training reseach and innovation.
We hope in the future, there will be a new cooperation between Vietnam Foundry and Metallurgy Science and Technology Association and other associations, companies in regional and also international in the Held of foundry and metallurgy.
